merry (late) christmas, and happy new year 🥳🎊
its the new year!! im sooo excited for this next year, its crazy to think about it though. im going to spend all of 2024 on the mish

not much went on last week so I decided to save it all for this weeks email instead. pretty much we just visited a bunch of members and dropped off cookies for a bunch of less active peeps. we had a few good lessons and we were able to get in contact with a lot of people I haden't met yet. this week on the other hand has been packed full of things to do. weve been able to talk to a lot of people this week since most people are home for the hollidays. heres a bit of the highlights:
Christmas

when I woke up Christmas morning I found a bunch of scriptures from all of yall!! thank you so much for sending your favorite scriptures to me! I put all of them in my scriptures so I can see them whenever I flip to that page
satuday (the 30th)
on satuday we saw a pretty cool miricle from knocking doors all day. we decided to hit up this one really long dirt road(all the roads out here are dirt), we made a goal to knock that whole street. an hour and a half later we only had 2 houses left on the street. all of the other people had either not answered, or told us they werent intrested. we were pretty discoraged and almost turned back around but we felt like we should knock the last two houses. and guess what??? we ended up finding two new people! the people were what a lot of missionaries would call "golden" they were both super intrested in learning about the gospel and the Book of Mormon. to top it all off they told us they were looking for a new church to go to. the reason why im telling this story is because I wanted to talk about the fact that oftentimes, faith proceeds miricles. miricles dont come before we have faith, miricles come "after the trial of our faith" (Ether 12:6). my favorite scripture about miricles is Mormon 9:15-21. it talks about how God is still a God of miricles. read all the way to the end because theres a super cool promise in verse 21

anyways, thats about it for this email. thanks again for all the scriptures! i hope yall have a great week
