here's this for yall

this isn't my weekly email, but here's this for you guys
tuesday

for breakfast I had some yogurt, i put toast in the toaster but I forgot to eat it. so now its still there. this morning we had to postpone personal study so we could go help this dude named Johnny. Johnny has no legs and he stockpiles a bunch of toys so he can give them out to kids. the problem is that none of them were sorted. they were all mixed in with eachother. so we went through them all and sorted them by gender and age group and all that fancy stuff. after that we went to the food bank to go help out again. we had a lot of people there so we pretty much just stood around in the cold for two hours. lunch was subway. I figured we should probably start using our subway giftcards... we have a grand total of 100 bucks in subway gift cards. after lunch we drove to Mayo to go say hi to a bunch of referals. there was this one guy who filled out a request for us to come by (he was also legless... if I had a nickel for every time ive seen a legless man today id have two nickels, witch isnt a lot but its still wierd that it happened twice) so we stopped by today and invited him to read from the 'mormon bible' (as he called it). he said that he couldent read all that well so we texted him the link to the BOM app. then he texted us back and was like if you ever text me or come back to my appartment again imma call the cops. so that was weird. he could have just told us he wasnt intrested lol. then we stopped by this one other house and a baptist preacher lived there he pretty much just spat false doctrine at us for 30 minutes. for dinner we went over to sister newmans, it was mashed taters and chicken. after that we walked around the park with the lights for a bit, then headed home for bed.


wensday

today was zone confrence and it was gobsmackingly epic as always. i got to see my old district so it was fun to talk with them. dude the talent show was soooo funny. Elder Larkin and some other peeps did a ro-sham-bo tournamnet and it was hype. I tickled the ivory a bit and that went well. after zone confrence we went to Larry's house. Larry seemes pretty promising, he asks a lot of good questions and hes genuninely seaching for truth. when we came over today however his mother in law was there, and she just wanted to bash. Elder Larkin and I actually did a good job addressing the arguments that she brought up but the spirit left so we just got outta there. after that whole jamboree we went to dinner and my my it was delish. then we went to young mens and young womens and it was absolute chaos. some peoples kids... am I right or am I right then we did some roleplays and headed home.


thursday

this morning breakfast was a bagel and one of those fairlife milks( they're sooooo good). my shower was very mid as always. durring study time I just read a bunch from the book of mormon. Im in the war chapters rn so thats pretty exciting. we did some weekly planning afterwards. it took like 4 hours bur our week is now planned. durring lunch I worked on a puzzle and had a Quesidilla(i need to start adding some variety to my diet). for the rest of the day we went around giving people soap. so the Sedgwicks gave us a whole bunch of bottles of soap to deliver to a bunch of the ward members so we pretty much spent all day dong that. we had dinner at this ittalian resturant and the members that took us our just left us there in the middle of dinner. they legit just payed for our food and got outta there. after that we went and stood out in the cold (not really, it was only 48) and tried to find some people. no one was found.


friday

i think I discovered Larkins greatest secret today. I was doing a bit of investigating this morning and I found out that his shower has insane water preasure. like mine is like showering with eydrops compared to his.


today weve just been going around giving people soap for christmas. we ran into this one family named the sleepers, and whod have guessed, they absolutely konked out when we got there. their son gave us a little potted plant though so hopefully we can keep it alive for awhile.


idk today was uneventful. we just did a lot of driving and we listened to a lot of talks. dude Presedent Holland has some fire talks... ohh wait i forgot to write it yesterday but bishop called us yesterday and asked if we could fill up the font for his sons baptism saturday morning. we did some quick calculations however and we found out that it will take about 5 and a half HOURS to fill up the font. he wants to do the baptisim at 10 sooo wed have to be at the church at 5. were not really allowed to wake up till 630 so we told him he'll have to turn it on. dude the bishop here is the worrrrst. hes so weird and creepy and everyone hates him.


saturday

this morning I made a smoothie, worked out, then we headed to the chruch to watch the font fill up. bishop walked in the font with his muddy shoes so the water was all dirty it was gonna take like 6 hours to fill up so we went and helped out the guy with no legs. today he was having a bunch of people come by to pick up toys for their kids for christmas so we helped him set that up. then we ran back to the church to watch the tub fill up some more. after the baptisim we went home, had lunch, then went to go help our legless friend put all the toys back in his barn shed thingy. for the rest of the day we delivered soap and christmas presents to people. we also tired to go talk to some more people at the lights again but no one really wanted to talk. after that I made some chicken for dinner(well i didnt make the chicken, another chicken made the chicken), and we baked up some cookies to hand out tomorrow. then I played the piano a bunch, cleaned the shower, worked on a puzzle, and went to bed at 10:45


sunday

I woke up and Elder Larkin was working on a bit of a project for his Girlfriends birthday. its actually a really good idea...


holy cow we got a lotta gifts from people at church... we got some chocolate, a whole smoked pork butt, $20 dollar subway giftcards and someone handed us 50 bucks each


after church we vacuumed out the car, dude. our vacuum sucks
