this isn't my weekly email, but here's this for you guys tuesday for breakfast I had some yogurt, i put toast in the toaster but I forgot to eat it. so now its still there. this morning we had to postpone personal study so we could go help this dude named Johnny. Johnny has no legs and he stockpiles a bunch of toys so he can give them out to kids. the problem is that none of them were sorted. they were all mixed in with eachother. so we went through them all and sorted them by gender and age group and all that fancy stuff. after that we went to the food bank to go help out again. we had a lot of people there so we pretty much just stood around in the cold for two hours. lunch was subway. I figured we should probably start using our subway giftcards... we have a grand total of 100 bucks in subway gift cards. after lunch we drove to Mayo to go say hi to a bunch of referals. there was this one guy who filled out a request for us to come by (he was also legless... if I had a nickel...

off to Branford 🤠

ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls... ive officially been out for 5 months. last week was pretty solid. it was sad saying bye to all the people in Chiefland, but I know that Branford is where the Lord needs me right now. Branford is a small little town about 30 minutes away from Chiefland. its pretty much the same area except even more rual(somehow) and theres new people. last sunday we did a church swap with our friend Alex. a church swap is where we go to his church one week then he comes to ours the next week. it was really intresting to see some of the similarities between our church and his. Alex is a super cool dude, afterwords we had a lesson with him and we were able to give him good sources to go to for some of his questions. oh yeah, last monday was pretty busy with all the preparation day things so I didnt really have time to write this... our friend Alex came to church yesterday so that was awesome. Alex is already a member, he was baptized a long time ago and hasnt been ...

Conner's day and other stuff

Hey William, Hope your week has gone well.  I'm excited to talk to you tomorrow.  I hope that you and Elder Larkin liked your Elf socks.  Once I actually put them on I was disappointed in how uncomfortable they were, but they were still a fun way to feel connected on Conner's day.  I know in the past we have had you guys stay home from school and dad takes the day off, but we decided because the kids have missed a bunch of school from being sick and you are across the country that this year we wouldn't do that.  I decided awhile back to get the heart rocks because I knew we wouldn't all be together, but I didn't know everyone would get sick and miss school too.  I was actually recovering from a stomach bug that day, so dad went to the temple and did initiatories without me, and I cancelled my appointment.   So if you saw the pictures, you saw that we still did Christmas in color.  They've added a ton more singing guys.  It's ...

Awesome art and one of my favorite quotes from Elder Holland.  The ministry is angels is one of the strongest parts of my testimony.  I thought this art was just perfect to represent the angels that came to visit the shepherds when Christ was born.   I had to take two screenshots to get the full quote  hope you have a wonderful day! Love  Mom

Cool scriptures we read tonight

Hey William, We have been reading the story of the Brother of Jared this week. It is one of my very favorite stories. I remember a few years ago studying Ether 3 and coming across Ether 3:23-24. I don't know why I didn't learn it before then, but I think it was about 4 years ago when we were studying the Book of Mormon for come follow me. But this verse talks about the Lord commanding the Brother of Jared to seal up 2 of the stones with their history. These same two stones were still with the gold plates when Moroni gave them to Joseph Smith and they became the Urim and Thummim. Pretty cool that they gave light to the people on the barges, and brought light to them across the ocean for almost a year. I love the symbolism of light. How it brings understanding to things we can't see or comprehend with the darkness around us. I love Ether 6:3. When I read that I think about how Heavenly Father doesn't expect us to cross our own great waters in darkness. He wants...
