Tuesday

Its definitely an experience sharing the church building with the whole mission. Theres even a few people ive met here from eagle mountain. Its nice to be able to get to know other people in the mission since its only been my comp and i for the last few weeks. Its so boring here we've been trying to do missionary work but its hard when you cant actualy talk with the people we're teaching. I ptetty much just practiced the piano the whole day today.  We had an awesome devotional with all the elders in the mission and durring it I raised my hand and pointed out how strong the spirit was and i almost choked up while i was talking. I was like whahhht this never happens.

Wensday
Well today we cleaned the church, i yet again played a ton of piano. My comp and I tried to still do missionary work by texting and calling a bunch of people. Its not very effective though when you cant go see the people. I was hoping that part of the storm would hit us but It was just a light drissle all day. We had a crazy long devotional, we played magic

Thursday
Today i drove us all the way back to cross city, it was crazy to see all the destruction from the hurricane all over Florida. A lot of places still dont have power. The hurricane missed our house so all our stuff is fine but we did find like 10 frogs on our door.

Anyways the place where the hurricane hit is called cedar key and the place got leveled. Cedar key is in our area so they are turning one of our church buildings into a command center. Were also gonna have 12 other elders come sleep at our appartment so they can help with the cleanup. Im soooo excited its gonna be a party, our floor is gonna be covered in matresses though.

After we got back we drove around and visited people to make sure they had water and stuff. We went to this one persons yard that was covered in branches so we gathered them in piles so she could burn them. I got like 7 miquito bites but it was definitely worth it.
Its always a lot of fun when we get the opportunity to do service.

Friday
Today was crazy busy, we helped someone move a 20,000 dollar motorcycle, we played ultimate and we helped people chop up a tree. I dont think ive sweat more in my life. Its so hot here, but its insanely fun doing service with a bunch of other people. The church newsroom came and took pics of us while we chopped up the tree so we'll see if im in any of them.

Saturday
Today was crazy, we woke up earlier than usual today to head to the church to run the command center. We did that for a few hours then we got to go do some service. We did a lot of it near the shore so i actualy got to see the ocean ðŸ¤©It was crazy though, you could see the water line from where the water was in peoples homes. A lot of the houses here got obliterated. The devistation these huricanes cause is mind boggling.

Sunday
Today we woke up at 530 to go set up the sacrement set up. Instead of meeting at the church we met at some baseball feilds in our service clothes so we could go do service right after. Its exaughsting but so much fun to be able to do so much service. I dont think ive ever lifted anything heavier in my life than some of those logs. Theres this one dude named Elder Kennard that I got to hang out with today. Hes an ablsoule giant but hes like the most loving guy ive ever met. Ill tell more about him over the phone though so we have something to talk about ðŸ˜œ

Everyone went back to their apartments today so that was kinda sad. It was so much fun goofing off with all the Elders.
